The Western Regional Outdoor Leadership Conference (WROLC) has been very good to me. When at UCLA, it introduced me to the founder and co-owner of ATS, whereby my canyoneering and gear design obsessions began. It also gave way to my involvement with Bivouac, after meeting Rich Gilbert at UC San Diego.
I first met Kari Brandt, the artist/crafty genius behind K-Dub Creations, at Sacramento State where I actually bought this headband from her upon suffering extreme jealousy of the colorfully adorned heads of all the San Bernardino crew.
I am generally ALWAYS cold and usually lazy about doing anything with my hair, which seems to have led to a constant sportage of headwear over the years. Call it thermoregulation, call it laziness... doesn't matter, K-Dub's got my back!
